Lady Gaga has revealed that her upcoming album will be called “Chromatica,” and that fans can get their hands on it as early as April 10.

With all the hype surrounding A Star Is Born since its 2018 release, it’s a wonder Lady Gaga has had time to make any music in the midst of launching her acting career. But last week, the singer released a new single called “Stupid Love,” heralding the arrival of a new album — one that Gaga has since revealed will be called “Chromatica.”

The singer posted the announcement to Twitter, confirming fans’ suspicions that this would be the album title — after all, the word is used multiple times throughout her newest single. Lady Gaga also wrote that the album is now available for pre-order, and that it will officially arrive in all of its glory on April 10. That’s way sooner than most expected, and we couldn’t be more excited about it.

If the other songs on the new album are anything like “Stupid Love,” Gaga’s Little Monsters are in for a treat — and a return to her old sound, back when “Just Dance” and “Bad Romance” were all over the radio.

The cover of “Chromatica” has yet to be unveiled, though Lady Gaga assured fans that the flashy pink art from her announcement Tweet is not the cover. That said, it’s possible this symbol will appear on the official album cover in some capacity — it seems a strange thing to share alongside the news otherwise.

As far as how many songs will appear on “Chromatica,” the album’s iTunes page suggests there will be around 16. That’s plenty of new Lady Gaga music to immerse ourselves in, so get ready to break out those dance moves, Little Monsters.
