The largest media and entertainment convention for LGBTQ+ women returns to Las Vegas for its fourth year, featuring stars from hit shows like The L Word: Generation Q, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Marvel’s Runaways.

ClexaCon, the largest multi-fandom event for LGBTQ+ women, gender non-conforming individuals, and allies, highlights some of the entertainment industry’s most progressive and prolific LGBTQ+ members. Featuring an assortment of actresses, creators, media influencers, and vendors from across the country, the convention treat attendees to an array of panel discussions, meet and greets, celebrity photo ops and autographs, and workshops.

The convention takes place April 16-19 at The Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The hotel itself features a full-service spa, casino, and nightly live entertainment on the premises. This will be the fourth consecutive year The Tropicana has hosted ClexaCon, which grows in popularity with each subsequent event. This year, the convention has also added a music showcase with several featured LGBTQ+ musicians, cabaret, and karaoke.

The majority of the featured guests at the event, along with the vast majority of speakers, identify as LGBTQ+. Key panel discussions will center around timely topics such as LGBTQ+ actors playing LGBTQ+ roles, transgender representation, bisexual representation, queer people of color representation, and supporting LGBTQ+ content creators to tell community stories.

Actresses attending this year’s event include Katherine Moenning and Leisha Hailey from The L Word: Generation Q, Amber Benson and Felicia Day from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Lyrica Okano and Ariela Barer from Marvel’s Runaways, and Caity Lotz and Jes McCallan from DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Guests will have the opportunity to have their picture taken and get autographs from some of their favorite stars throughout the weekend.

ClexaCon also donates a portion of its proceeds from the annual Cocktails for a Change event, which allows guests to mingle with guests and speakers following a charitable donation. The proceeds will benefit The Victory Fund Alliance, Project Q, and WIRES Australia.
