Harry Potter’s David Tennant heading to London’s West End for limited run
By Callum Gunn
David Tennant is known for many roles, including Barty Crouch Jr. in Harry Potter. Now it’s time to get to know him for another West End character.
We know David Tennant for all sorts of roles. He’s been in Harry Potter, Good Omens, and even Doctor Who. Now it’s time to see him as another character when he stars on the London’s West End in a limited run.
Tennant is taking on the role of professor John Halder for 10 weeks in Good. Written by Cecil Philip Taylor, the play focuses on the world as it faces World War II. However, David Tennant isn’t playing a character that you’ll find yourself connecting to. The audience watches this music-loving profession fall into Nazism.

It’s a play everyone should take the time to see if they’re in the West End—or close to anywhere it is being performed. There’s also a movie adaptation which is more than worth watching. The movie even stars Harry Potter‘s Jason Isaacs, along with Doctor Who and Broadchurch‘s Jodie Whittaker. It’s a story from the Holocaust that is not often touched on, keeping memories of real events alive.

This isn’t the first time David Tennant has been on the West End. However, it does mark his first appearance for three years. And he’s only going to be there for 10 weeks, starting on Oct. 6. Tickets go on sale on Feb. 21. You’ll want to act fast if you want to see it because I get the feeling this limited run will sell out fast.
