The Aeronauts coming to Amazon Prime Video in December 2019

Looking forward to see Fantastic Beasts’ Eddie Redmayne in a new movie? The Aeronauts is the one to watch and it’s on Amazon Prime Video in December.
While Eddie Redmayne is offering us the quirky Newt Scamander in Fantastic Beasts, he’s also getting to entertain us as a pioneer. The Aeronauts, also starring Felicity Jones, will head to Amazon Prime Video in December 2019.
In fact, the movie will head to theaters first, getting a limited release at the end of next week. You’ll want to look out to see if a theater near you will show it. Otherwise, you’ll need to wait until Dec. 20 for the release of the movie on Amazon Prime Video. It’s the last Amazon Original to be released in the month.

This is an international release. Amazon ensured to secure those rights, and we’re glad they did. That means you’ll be able to watch on any of your Prime Video subscriptions no matter where in the world you are.
It’s another flash to the past for Redmayne in The Aeronauts. This time, we’re heading to 1862 with him. He plays James Glaisher, a meteorologist who teams up with Amelia Wren, a balloon pilot not afraid to take risks. She wants to fly higher than anyone ever, while he wants to advance the knowledge of the weather.

Their journey isn’t going to be an easy one. Not only will they need to deal with everything Mother Nature throws their way, but they’ll need to deal with their own personal fears and emotional challenges that come with doing something that’s never been done before.
