Fantastic Beasts 3: Eddie Redmayne shares the Harry Potter character he’d love to see

If you could see any character from Harry Potter in Fantastic Beasts 3, who would it be? Eddie Redmayne shares his Harry Potter wish.

One of the great things about Fantastic Beasts is to see some of the Harry Potter characters who are no longer around. The ones who were lost during the franchise or the ones that we barely hear about anymore. Eddie Redmayne recently shared which character he would love to see in Fantastic Beasts 3.

Redmayne took part in a Reddit “Ask Me Anything” thread, where he answers all sorts of fan questions. One of those was about the character he’d love to see return. He took his time but eventually shared that it’s all about Hagrid.

This certainly isn’t the first time he’s mentioned that he’d like to see Hagrid pop up. The best thing is that the question led to another one. Would he prefer to face a Hagrid-sized Niffler or 100 little ones? Well, it turns out the latter is the better option and the former gives him nightmares.

But back to Hagrid, would it be possible for the gamekeeper to make his way into the world of Fantastic Beasts? Right now, probably not. We’re still in the late 20s and Hagrid isn’t around just yet. However, there’s a chance that eventually we’ll catch up with some of the flashbacks in Harry Potter. That could mean eventually Hagrid turns up.

The Reddit thread went onto other topics, including Redmayne’s upcoming movie The Aeronauts, which will head to Amazon Prime Video in December. There was also a chance to talk about Star Wars. Yes, really!
