HoliDeals are here now: What are the best deals from Amazon’s 2019 Black Friday sale?

Amazon’s Black Friday has started early, and there are more deals to come. Whether it’s Lightning deals or deals on  Amazon devices, you can find some way to save on your Christmas shopping.

Don’t feel bad if you haven’t started Christmas shopping yet, because Amazon has your back! There are many HoliDeals that are available right now on Amazon, and there are more on the way. Some have even come and gone, so it’s important to start your shopping as soon as possible.

The 2019 Amazon Black Friday Deals can be separated by different categories: “Lightning” deals, deals on Amazon Devices, Smartphones, Prime member benefits, and more. Below is a breakdown of each type of deal and what savings you can expect:

Lightning deals

Lightning strikes quick, and so do these deals. Lighting deals are limited deals that come and go quickly. They can last less than 24 hours. Each item on the Lighting Deals page has a countdown for how long you have until the deal is no longer available. You are probably familiar with Lightning Deals from Prime Day.

Lightning deals are difficult to snag, but you can watch deals via your iOS or Android mobile device option on your Amazon account. Just select “Settings” from the drop-down menu on the lefthand corner, click on “Notifications,” and then scroll down to turn on the “Your Watched & Waitlisted Deals.” After that, you can go back to the main page, select the “Upcoming” column and choose the items from the list that you want to watch by clicking “Watching.”

Early Amazon Black Friday deals

Here are some early HoliDeals that are happening right now. Some prices have slightly gone up from the previous discount, so I wouldn’t wait too long. Still, these are not moving fast like lightning deals, so you will have a better chance of catching the deal.

  1. Spend $50 on health and household items like toilet paper and diapers and get a $10 Amazon Gift card. This is a limited deal.
  2. The Ninja 12-Cup Programmable Brewer went down to $79.99 from its original price of $99.99. This coffee brewer has a 24-hour programmable delay brew that allows your prepare your brew up to a day in advance, up to 12 cups of coffee.
  3. The MacBook Pro 13″ (1.4 GHz/256 GB) price has went down from  $1,499 to $1,299. It offers more power than the MacBook Air and is portable.
  4. The MacBook Pro 13″ (2.4 GHz/ 256 GB)  price went down from $1,799 to $1,599. It has a more powerful CPU than the MacBook Pro above. Probably one of the lowest prices of this product out there.
  5. Beats Studio 3 Wireless Headphones has dropped to $199 from $349. It has 20 hours of battery life, noise-canceling capabilities, and easy Bluetooth pairing with iOS devices.
  6. The Amazon Echo Show 8  debuts on Nov. 21, but it’s available for pre-order right now for $99. The Echo Show 8’s original price was $129. It has an 8-inch display and camera shutter you can use to block the camera lens. You can view TV shows, the weather, and it can also be used to control your smart home.
  7. 23 and Me DNA Test is now $99, which went down from $199! This test includes 125 reports on health, wellness, and ancestry.
  8. Apple AirPods with Charging Case is now $139. This price dropped twice. original price was $159 and then it dropped to $144.
  9.  Apple AirPods with the Wireless Charging case.  The current price is now $164.99. Unfortunately, the price primarily dropped to $159.99 from the original price of $199.00.  $164.99 from $199 is still a good deal, so quickly purchase these before the price increases.
  10. Apple AirPods Pro has dropped to $234.99 from $249.00. It’s not the greatest sale, but it is still a discount for the latest AirPods.

 Amazon Devices going on sale soon

  1. Amazon Fire TV Stick 4k will be $24.99 beginning Nov. 24. The original price is $49.99. The Fire TV Stick has 4k resolution and quick menu navigation. You can listen to music and interact with Amazon’s Alexa.
  2. Amazon Fire 7 Tablet will be $29.99 beginning Nov. 22. The original price is $49.99. You can access entertainment apps.
  3. Echo Dot w/ Clock will be $44.99 beginning Nov. 28. It’s a revamped 3rd generation Echo Dot. It has a built-in LED light display and allows you to see the time, temperature, and use a timer.
  4. Amazon’s Fire HD 8 Tablet will be $49.99  starting Nov. 22. The original price is $79.99. It has a sharp 8-inch screen and a 1.9-megapixel front camera.
  5. The Amazon Kindle Paperwhite will be $84.99 on Nov. 22. The original price is $129.99. The Kindle Paperwhite has a long battery life and is waterproof.
  6. The  Amazon Echo Show 5 will be $49 beginning Nov. 28.  The original price was $89.99. This is the compact version of the Echo Show.  It has a 5.5-inch display, video call support, and more!

Smartphones

Here are smartphone deals on Amazon that are available right now.

  1. Google’s Black Pixel 3  cellphone with 64GB Memory is priced at $449. You will be saving $354 dollars!
  2. Google’s Black Pixel  3 XL with 64GB Memory Cell Phone is $535.00.  A $364 difference from its original price, $899.
  3. Apple’s Space Gray iPhone XS 256 GB is now $653. The original discount was $749.9, a significant dip from $1,299.99. Take advantage of this deal soon.
  4. Apple’s  Rose Gold iPhone 6S, 64GB is an older model iPhone but this deal is still impressive.  The price is now $169, but it was originally discounted at $159. $169 is still a significant dip from the original price of $659.99 Please take advantage of this deal before the price increases even more.
  5. Apple’s White iPhone XR, 64GB is now $489.82. The original price was  $538.99.
  6. Apple’s Space Gray iPhone 8, 64GB is now $310. The original price was $349.
  7. Samsung’s  Galaxy S10, 128GB is now $480. The original price was $508.00.

More deals!

Based on the advice from Tom’s Guide, there may be similar deals from last year’s Black Friday that might happen again this year. There is no confirmation, but this is something to keep an eye on. Here is a list of some of these possible deals:

  1. Amazon’s services are usually discounted during the holiday season. It’s recommended to wait until Thanksgiving or  Black Friday to purchase any new services (Amazon Music Unlimited, Kindle Unlimited, Prime Now, or Prime Fresh). Last year, Amazon gave new subscribers of Amazon Music Unlimited a 3-month subscription for 99 cents and an Echo Dot for free!
  2. Amazon Prime Members should expect some sales at Whole Foods. Keep your eyes wide open!
  3. Another benefit for Prime Members: you can get over 10 million items delivered next day for free during this holiday season. Some cities even have free same-day delivery.
