Amazon’s new dystopian sci-fi show, The Feed, has dropped an official trailer and everybody’s favorite Harry Potter professor, David Thewlis, a.k.a Remus Lupin, is featured.

Professor Remus Lupin was a visionary character in the Harry Potter novels, and David Thewlis enhanced the character even more in the Wizarding World movies. Thewlis is set to be visionary once again in his new role in The Feed, but probably not for the same reasons.

An upcoming Amazon Prime Video series, The Feed will make us question whether technology is a good or bad thing.

More from Harry Potter

The series is based on the novel by Nick Clark Windo and it centers on a dystopian world where technology has advance so much, that humans are able to connect and share their experiences, emotions, and memories with one another instantly.

This technology, called The Feed, has been created by David Thewlis’ character and his family is involved in the daily running of this technology. When in-explainable and violent events start to happen with those who use the technology, decisions must be made, hardships must be faced, and obstacles overturned in order to make sure the human race does not dwindle out.
