Harry Potter costume designers snuck in subtle detail involving Lord Voldemort’s robes

We all missed it! At least most of us did anyway! Lord Voldemort’s robes changed color each time Horcrux was destroyed in Harry Potter and we all missed it.
Harry Potter is amazing! Even after all this time. We are still learning new things about the Wizarding World franchise. Recently it was the hidden sequence during the Battle of Hogwarts that referred to moments in the previous movies.
Today, it is about how the costume designers made Lord Voldemort’s robes change color every time a Horcrux was destroyed.

Posted on their official Instagram page. They stated that the robes would slowly fade each time to give the impression that Voldemort was fading away. Considering how things ended for Voldemort, it really shows the forethought the team behind making the Wizarding World come to life put into making the movies.
Of course, if you didn’t catch this subtle costume change you are going to want to see it for yourself. Not that you really needed an excuse to watch the Harry Potter movies again, but this is a pretty good reason to go and do it.
