Fantastic Beasts star Zoë Kravitz cast as Catwoman

The upcoming 2021 Batman movie has found its Catwoman. Fantastic Beasts star Zoë Kravitz has been officially cast in the Warner Bros, movie.
Zoë Kravitz is well known among the Wizarding World fandom as Leta Lestrange. She starred in both Fantastic Beasts movies, with her role being more significant in the second movie, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
The actress will soon be well known among DC Universe fans however as Kravitz has officially been cast as Catwoman.

Set to star alongside the newly cast Batman, Robert Pattinson. The movie is set for release on June 25, 2021. The movie is being directed by Matt Reeves and is also starring Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordan and, according to Deadline, Jonah Hill in an unknown villainous role.
Kravitz is no stranger to big blockbuster movies. Fantastic Beasts aside, she has also starred in the Divergent franchise and X-Men.

This announcement does put a big question mar over her future in the Harry Potter prequel. While her character was killed off in the most recent movie. There has been rumor over if she can come back or not.
Nothing official has ever come out over if Kravitz would be back as Leta or not, but this new role of hers may be the clear signal we have all been waiting to get. With her moving onto Batman, the chances of seeing Leta again is unlikely.
