While fans have had months to get used to the fact that Luke Perry passed away in March, we have also been waiting to see how Riverdale handled the shocking loss. And now we also know how the cast dealt with “In Memoriam.”

In honor of the season 4 premiere episode of Riverdale, “In Memoriam,” which acted as a chance for the show to say goodbye to Luke Perry, and his character, Fred Andrews, the cast of the show took to social media to share their own tributes. And across the board, it was clear that Perry had touched the lives of every single member of the Riverdale family.

Even in three short years, it’s clear that Perry made an impact on the lives of every person he worked with. And on Instagram, many of his coworkers took the time to share not only their thoughts on the actor, but also images that represented him in some way.

Considering the entire season 4 premiere was dedicated to remembering Fred Andrews, it makes sense that the cast would also take the time to remember their friend.

Marisol Nichols, who plays Hermione Lodge, a love interest of Fred’s shared a selfie with the actor. In the caption that went along with the picture, Nichols simply wrote, “This ones for you my friend. S4 tonight.”

Lili Reinhart shared two different posts about Perry, with one featuring multiple cast pictures. The second post featured a shot taken by Cole Sprouse that she described as being one of her favorite pictures of Perry.

In the first post however, Reinhart made it clear that “In Memoriam” is not the only episode dedicated to the actor’s memory. She said that every episode moving forward until the end of Riverdale‘s run will be done in honor of the actor. According to Reinhart, “We love, honor, and cherish his memory every single day,” and it seems that her hope is that people can see how much of an impact he had on so many people.

For Madelaine Petsch’s tribute to Perry, she shared a picture from their first upfront presentation for Riverdale with the actor. She talked about how he helped her through not only that experience, but so many others that were new to her. According to Petsch, “He was always so generous and supportive and patient with my learning and growing through some of the most formative years of my life. I am so lucky to have known you Luke.”

Another touching tribute came on behalf of Skeet Ulrich, who plays FP Jones. While his picture is simply a ball cap on a counter, it turns out that hat was Perry’s. In fact, the actor had left the hat at Ulrich’s home a week before he passed away. And they had discussed getting the hat back to him throughout that week.

Sadly, as Ulrich pointed out, Perry left behind so much more than a hat. And as part of his tribute to his friend, Ulrich said, “We miss you and keep you in our hearts every single day. Thank you for all you gave the world, tonight is for you.”

With many of the people who Perry touched paying tribute to their friend, it makes sense that, in honor of the episode dedicated to his memory, the cast that worked so hard to say goodbye would pay tribute to their friend outside of the episode as well. While everyone says goodbye in their own way, it is clear that the Riverdale cast will continue to mourn their friend long after “In Memoriam.”
