The Good Place season 4 episode 3 preview: Something troubling coming soon
The Good Place has plenty on its plate already, and we still haven’t seen much of our fourth new human. How will Tahani handle her old nemesis?
You’d like to think that the only place The Good Place can go is up from here, but they’ve proven that to be wrong time and time again.
After all, we are technically in the Medium Place in this latest experiment. SO it’s all warm beer, Cannonball Run II, and The Eagles live.
Here is the official synopsis for this week’s episode, “Chillaxing,” courtesy of NBC:
"“Michael and Eleanor discover something troubling and turn to an unusual source for help. Tahani lends her expertise to assist with one of the new residents.”"
I am assuming it’s not like Garret’s “chillaxing” on Community, but I’m sure it’ll have to do with the Neighborhood resident we really haven’t seen much of yet this season.
Old NBC comedies aside, The Good Place hasn’t focused yet on the human experiment brought in for Tahani: John, the gossip blogger.
You know this one is going to be tough for Tahani. But maybe having made up with Kamillah in her re-done life will make it easier for her to take anything John can throw at her.
That probably won’t happen, but we can hope!
Meanwhile, what do we think is going to be troubling for Michael and Eleanor? Does Janet finally lose it after being so overworked? Do they turn to Derek for help?
Or… do they turn to a bad Janet or to Shawn himself? What about Trevor? Man, we really have met a lot of demons.
If they want to keep it a little more simple, they could always turn to Mindy St. Clair. She’s somewhere in the Medium Place trying to mind her own business and ignore the accountant’s weird obelisk thing in her living room.
She might have some pretty sage advice. Or she might be full of cocaine. It’s probably a toss-up at this point.
The Good Place airs new episodes on Thursdays at 9:00 p.m. ET. Stay tuned for reviews of every new episode right here on Culturess.
