In honor of her impending departure from Saturday Night Live, we’re rounding up 6 of our favorite skits featuring Leslie Jones.

Say it ain’t so! After six years working as both a writer and regular cast member on Saturday Night Live, Leslie Jones is officially saying goodbye to the long-running sketch show and moving on to new projects.

Although we hate to see such a huge talent leaving SNL, we can’t wait to see where her career heads next. Because whatever it is, we know it’s going to be great.

In honor of her departure – and to deal with our not insignificant sadness – we’re picking out six of our favorite Saturday Night Live sketches featuring Leslie Jones to celebrate her six years on the show.

Wedding Objections

Featuring Leslie Jones as the bride-to-be of guest star Martin Freeman, “Wedding Objections features a slew of wedding guests stepping up to the microphone one-by-one to voice their increasingly concerning opposition to the marriage.

Not online does Jones look *gorgeous* in her wedding dress, but she’s also hilarious as a WNBA superstar dead-set on marrying a White Castle owner, no matter the cost.

Inner White Girl

Although Martin Freeman and Leslie Jones made a pretty odd couple, an even odder one is Leslie and Reese Witherspoon in the online exclusive sketch “Inner White Girl.”

SNL has never been a show that shies away from social commentary, and this comedic spin on race relations sees Leslie receive a magical locket from her grandmother that helps her navigate difficult situations when she’s dealing with white people.

The results are predictably hilarious.

New Annie

In a parody of the 2014 remake of the classic musical Annie,  Jones plays a 43-year-old war veteran/pro athlete/orphan who hopes to be adopted by “Jamie Foxx’s” Daddy Warbucks.

Seeing her in the trademark red wig and the great depression-era dress is funny enough on its own, but Jones’ stark contrast to the other, more traditionally styled musical-theatre orphans in the house makes for a great sketch.

Weekend Update: Crazy Bitches

In one of her earliest appearances on SNL, Jones appears on Weekend Update to defend so called “crazy bitches” against the criticisms of men.

It was one of our first introductions to how funny the comedian could really be, and even though she breaks character partway through, it somehow makes the sketch even funnier.

Naked and Afraid: Celebrity Edition

Leslie seems to shine the most when she’s paired up with celebrity guests, and nowhere is this more clear than in “Naked and Afraid: Celebrity Edition”.

She appears alongside Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage as the pair attempt to navigate both the wilderness and each other when they’re sent out to survive 21 days alone in nature.

Love and Leslie

At least in the beginning, “Love and Leslie” seems like a more dramatic, serious sketch, especially given the way in which it delves into Jones’ real life experiences during the intro. However, it doesn’t take long for things to take a turn for the obscure when it’s revealed that Leslie had started a supposed relationship with fellow cast member Kyle.

It’s a sketch that evolved into a running gag that never failed to make us laugh, and it’s just one of the many reasons why we’re going to miss Leslie once she’s gone from SNL.
