Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD finishes its sixth season this week. Can the team defeat Izel and somehow save Coulson in the process?

Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD looks like it’s going to end its sixth season with more of a bang than the fourth season. You know, when the world was quaked apart?

The world’s still at stake this season, too, just from the monoliths and whatever Izel’s origin world is. …You know, where Ghost Rider more than likely originated?

It’s back-to-back episodes this Friday night starting at 8pm, but they have the same official synopsis. Here it is, “The Sign” and “New Life,” courtesy of ABC:

"“With time running short, the team will have to go to hell and back to stop the end of everything. Who will survive?”"

Okay, if Ghost Rider doesn’t appear in either of these episodes, I’m going to have to have a word with whoever writes these synopses. That’s the last two weeks that I’ve hoped for Robbie Reyes! Don’t let me down!

Ranting about Ghost Rider aside, Agents of SHIELD still has plenty to wrap up in these back-to-back installments. Not only do we need a better answer as to what Izel and Sarge are and more details about world they come from, we also need to know if they can harness the powers of all three monoliths. And if so, what can those powers bring about? Because it’s certainly more than either of them are letting on.

Not only that, but in the post-credits stinger last week, the remaining Chronicoms are looking to begin Chronyca-3 and rebuild their planet. And where do we think Chronyca-3 will be? An educated guess would levy Earth.

Which means that if we’re going to see at least one familiar face in this finale, it’s going to be Enoch. He’s a wonderful addition to the cast, so I am all for it. And seeing him with his BFF Fitz would be the highlight of the episode.
