Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD takes no time to catch us up on what happened last week — we just need to know that the world needs to be saved.

Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD has an angry planet-eating hate-beast headed directly for the Earth’s surface.

That means there’s no time for a recap.

Here is the official synopsis for this week’s episode, “Collision Course (Part II),” courtesy of ABC:

"No time for the team to play catch-up, there’s a planet to save."

Well, if ABC and Agents of SHIELD don’t want to catch us up with an official synopsis, I’ll just catch us up instead! Or, as Nelson Muntz says, “I said there’s no time to explain, and I stick by that!”

Last week, more pieces were placed in this puzzle to give us a little bit clearer of a picture. Sarge gave us more information on Izel’s background, and Izel gave us more information on her motives. We’re still not sure which one to trust–probably neither of them–and it’s still very possible that neither of them can be trusted.

Izel is definitely controlling the shrikes while FitzSimmons are none the wiser to any ulterior motives she may have. And that includes taking control of the rest of the crew via shrikes.

Meanwhile, Sarge was kind of working with SHIELD for most of the episode… until he armed an atom bomb, locked May, Deke, and Daisy in a semi-truck headed straight for the shrike tower with the bomb armed, and teleported onto the mobile SHIELD base above them to overthrow Mack.

So… neither of these antagonists look very good.

That’s also a problem for every single member of our SHIELD team. A very big problem. Daisy, Deke, and May (and Snowflake) are stuck on a semi-truck with an atom bomb, and very much look like they’re headed to early deaths. Meanwhile, is anyone aware that Sarge isn’t on the truck anymore and going to cause a mutiny?

dark. Next. Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD: Izel or Sarge, who can we trust?

Only time will tell what happens on Agents of SHIELD! Will they answer all our questions or will they pull a LOST and frustrate us?
