How to brew potions in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite

Being able to brew a potion or two is a must for players of the new augmented reality mobile game. So here is how to brew potions in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite.
Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is here and while it did take over two years to arrive, it was certainly worth the wait in the end. The augmented reality mobile game from Pokémon GO creators Niantic has completely hooked already and that is vastly due to the vast variety of skills you need to learn. One such skill is brewing potions and that is exactly what we are going to look at today, how to brew potions in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite.
OK. So, the first thing you need to know is how you can’t brew anything until you are at least Level 4. So, if you just started the game and are wondering why you are unable to brew potions, it’s not you, it’s the game.

Once you have reached the magical Level 4, potion brewing will then be available to you. And it is something you want to do straight away, as there are massive benefits to brewing your own potion. Benefits such as being able to better your spell casting abilities, healing when in battle, etc.
Brewing a potion is actually rather simple. All you need to do is visit the suitcase and then potions. This will then present you with the potion’s menu, at which point you select a brewing slot which is available. Then, select which Harry Potter: Wizards Unite potion you wish to brew.
Now, this is where the potentially really hard part comes in. Potions require ingredients, no surprise there, and if you don’t have the required ingredients when you select the potion you wish to brew you won’t be able to move forward.

If you already have the ingredients you would just have to wait for the potion to brew, there is the options to have it made instantly, but this will cost you some of your Harry Potter: Wizards Unite gold.

The problem is, if you obviously don’t have the ingredients. If you don’t, you have to head out into the world and find them. Where they are depends obviously on where you live, but also on certain circumstances as well. Such as some ingredients only appear if we have the right weather.
If you don’t want to do that, there is the options of buying the ingredients. You get this option when you select the potion you want to brew while in the menu. This will also cost you Harry Potter: Wizards Unite gold, so make sure you are absolutely sure before hitting the spend button.
Other than getting your hand on the ingredients though. Potion brewing is relatively straight forward in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite and should really not cause you any amount of problems.
