How to use a Portkey in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite

Portkey’s will allow you to move from one environment to another in single instant, but you need to use them correctly. Here is how to use a Portkey in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite.
Wizarding World fans will know exactly what a Portkey is and what it does and in the world of Harry Potter: Wizards Unite the magical object pretty much works in the same way. Transporting you from one place to the next in an instant, the only difference between the actual world of Harry Potter and the mobile AR game is how you use them.
Just like the Harry Potter stories, a Portkey is a single use, one time only, item. So, use them wisely. When you do decide to use your Portkey, it will transfer you to a brand new environment, allow you to unlock new rewards and XP, so it is well worth using the magical item.

In order to use a Portkey, what you need to do first of all is find a Portkey Portmanteau. This is both very easy, and not so easy at the same. All you have to do is walk around, explore the game as much as possible and find one.
Once you have found a Portkey Portmanteau, what you will need to do next is unlock it. Keys are required to unlock a Portkey Portmanteau. We all start with our golden key, which can be used at any time as it has unlimited uses, but it can only be used on one Portkey Portmanteau at a time.
If you have multiple Portkey Portmanteau’s and have already used your golden key, you can purchase silver keys with Harry Potter: Wizards Unite gold. These keys are single use only. They can be earned as you progress through the game.
OK. So, once you have found a Portkey Portmanteau and used your key, you need to stretch it out and prepare to work up a sweat. Because what you need to do next is travel the required distance, which can be anywhere between 2 and 10 kilometers.

Once you have met all of these requirements you will be able to use your Portkey. You’re going to need to find a large open space before using your Portkey. Once you put the magical item down, a portal will then appear, allowing you to enter the new environment.
You have to physically walk through the portal, feel free to some sort of flick and twist jump or something insanely cool when you go through the portal.
Once inside, you will face new challenges and you will be able to rack up the XP.
