When will Harry Potter: Wizards Unite be released in Canada?

Wizarding World fans in the US, UK, AUS, and NZ are all playing Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. So, when will Harry Potter: Wizards Unite be released in Canada?
It’s the most highly anticipated mobile game of 2019 and Wizarding World fans across the world finally got their chance to play it yesterday, June 21. The world wide release of Harry Potter: Wizards Unite from Niantic, the makers of Pokémon Go, included the US, UK and, well, that’s it really,……so not quite a world wide release really.
*UPDATE* June 22, 2019. Canada should have access to the mobile AR game according to the official website.
The poor people of Canada, who are always so polite, are really feeling the pain as most mobile game releases are made available at the same time as their US counterparts, but in this instance, it has not happened.

It’s a travesty really, but, one day, the AR game will be available, the only question is when? Harry Potter: Wizards Unite be released in Canada?
As things stand, at the time of writing, there is no official release date set for Harry Potter: Wizards Unite in Canada. No matter where you look, whether it be Pottermore, the official mobile games website, the Play Store, etc. When it comes to Canada, it is showing a ‘coming soon’ notification.
So, it could be here tomorrow, or maybe by the time I have finished writing this post, but it very well could be next week or, God forbid, in two or three months.

It’s incredibly frustrating. Fans have been waiting years for the game to come out and now for it to be released *insert air quotes* worldwide to just the UK and US (both AUS and NZ had it beforehand as they BETA tested the game), is a real kick in the nether region.
There is some light at the end of the tunnel, however. Some reports have come in stating that fans have managed to get access in small regions of Ontario and Bell Corners of Ottawa. This is not verifiable via any official source of Harry Potter: Wizards Unite so take it with a pinch of salt.
We’ll update this post regularly as we learn more so remember to check back regularly. Fingers crossed we won’t be waiting too long everyone.
