Dobby the House Elf is real! At least that is who it looks like in this CCTV footage. Maybe Dobby has found someone else to save other than Harry Potter.
A video has surfaced online depicting a creature that looks eerily similar to the famous House Elf from Harry Potter, Dobby. Many news outlets have reported the sighting and Wizarding World fans all across the world, including myself, can’t help but notice the uncanny resemblance.
The footage was captured via a home CCTV system. It went viral shortly after being uploaded and shared via Twitter, but it supposedly started out on Facebook.

Fans of the Wizarding World, and those who are just curious in general, have been marveling the footage over the weekend, comparing the footage to the House Elf.
Dobby, who we all remember as having extremely long ears with hair coming out of them, skinny legs and an overall small physique. The creature in this footage is the spitting double.

Is this actually Dobby? As much as I would love to say it is, it’s a fairly safe bet that this is not the magical house elf.
So, what could it be? Well, that is the million-dollar question being asked right now. Personally, I reckon it’s a prank of some sort. An animatronic figure resembling Dobby used in this fashion in order to create a viral video.
That’s just me though.
