Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery brings a new patronus to the game

There’s a new Patronus heading to Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. A new Patronus and mission are coming to the game, and it’s all about Tonks.

A new and mysterious evil has entered Hogwarts. Nobody knows how or why, but it’s up to you as the player to figure out and stop it. Don’t worry, you’ll have some help. Tonks and her jackrabbit Patronus will take you along the journey, facing the dangerous threat and teaching you how to do your own Patronus charm.

This is certainly one of the most asked about elements of the Wizarding World for the game. It was only about time that the Patronus would be taught, but who would have guessed that Tonks would be the one to help?

What’s even better is that you’ll get the chance to design your own Patronus. This isn’t quite how it all works in the real world of Harry Potter, but there have always been slight changes for the sake of the game. After all, you got to choose your house instead of being put in a particular one that the Sorting Hat decided for you.

Players will have the chance to design the Patronus and attribute levels to it. Then, you’ll need to use your Patronus to save Hogwarts from the mysterious evil.

What level do you need to be?

Before you can take on the Patronus Special Adventure quest, you’ll need to have completed Year 1, Chapter 6. You’ll then be able to take part in the full marks leaderboard event, which allows you to earn Patronus-related prizes.

If you’ve made it through Year 1, Chapter 4, you’ll also be able to get the special limited Patronus bundle to purchase within the game. This opens the chance to go to the Duelling Club and lean the Obscuro Spell.
