Harry Potter fans in Canada will finally be able to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child as the stage production is coming to Toronto in 2020.
No doubt some of you Harry Potter fans who live in Canada made the journey to New York to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Some of you may have even made the journey to the West End, perhaps even Melbourne.
For those of you waiting on the stage production coming to Canada, your patience will soon be rewarded. The Wizarding World production is set to debut in Toronto in 2020.

Performances will take place at the Ed Mirvish Theatre in Toronto. A premiere date has not yet been scheduled, but it has been narrowed down to the Fall of 2020.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child being performed in Toronto will make it the sixth location that the Wizarding World production has visited. So far, performances have taken place in London, New York, Melbourne, San Francisco, and Hamburg.

Set 19 years after the events that occurred in the Deathly Hallows. The stage production follows the Golden Trio, Harry, Ron, and Hermione, and their children, along with Draco and his child as well.

The production has been positively received no matter where it has gone. Not every Wizarding World fan has enjoyed it, but it would have been magic if every fan in the world enjoyed it. The consensus has been positive though.
Tickets are still to go on sale and further information on the cast is still pending. As soon as more information is released, you will hear about it right here at Wizards and Whatnot.
