Game of Thrones season 8 episode 4: The best fan reactions on social media

More chaos ensued in the fourth episode of Game of Thrones’ final season, even after one of the biggest battles in Westeros. Twitter certainly had some feelings about everything that went down.

Warning: This article contains spoilers for the fourth episode of Game of Thrones‘ eighth season.

It’s easy to say peace doesn’t last long in Westeros. After the long, tiresome Battle of Winterfell, the people of Westeros got to have a little moment of celebration for winning the fight and to commemorate those they lost.

Unfortunately, things went south as they literally headed to the South to confront Cersei in King’s Landing. Anyone who thought they’d have safe passage there obviously doesn’t watch enough Game of Thrones, because things seriously went down at sea when Daenery’s fleet was confronted by Euron’s — leading to one epic cliff hanger.

Twitter was certainly going through *all* the feels on this emotional rollercoaster episode. It started at the very beginning, with everyone big sad about seeing their favs dead from the Battle of Winterfell.

Sansa looking at a dead Theon really brought on the waterworks.

Well, everyone was sad… except for Cersei, we’re sure.

Then, better times were to come at the feast. There was a huge toast to the G.O.A.T Arya, because she deserved it.

Tormund was the absolute life of the party! Maybe no one actually cared to hear his stories, but at least he was enjoying himself.

Daenerys, on the other hand, was acting kind of… strange at the party. Twitter could tell she wasn’t really feeling all the praise Jon received for fighting in the battle. (Even though she kind of did nothing during the battle, so…)

Meanwhile, after rejecting Gendry’s proposal, Arya was out here straight breaking hearts  even the internet’s!

And while Arya was breaking hearts, Jaime was out here stealing hearts. That is, he stole one heart from Tormund when he and Brienne, um, got it on.

Let us bow our heads for another sad moment, too, when Jon Snow just gave away Ghost like he meant nothing to him.

Meanwhile, Sansa was Ms. Gossip Girl, going around telling Jon’s secret about his parentage. But honestly, the internet was living for the drama.

Then, heartbreak moment #3 happened: Jaime left Brienne. So we (and Tormund) are basically ready to revolt right now to protect our knight, Ser Brienne of Tarth.

By the end, heartbreak moment #4 came when Euron’s fleet captured Missandei, and they straight up beheaded her. Twitter was sad, mad, and all sorts of feelings about this big ending.

Daenerys was absolutely livid this episode, and the internet cannot wait to see what happens next when she fights against Cersei for the throne. Neither can we.
