Disney’s Hollywood Studios is celebrating its 30th anniversary with sweet, new treats and some savory, old favorites. Here’s a guide to what to try when you’re visiting the theme park… and where to get it.

Any good celebration needs tons of delicious food, and at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the park’s culinary team is partying hard with new desserts and treats to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the park.

But if mom taught you to eat a good dinner before having dessert, Hollywood Studios has you covered as well. The park is also paying tribute to some of their most iconic entrees that have been favorites of park-goers since the park opened in 1989.

Culturess recently got an inside look at everything sweet, savory and yummy that’s available at Hollywood Studios during the 30th-anniversary celebration.

Here are some of our favorite additions to Hollywood Studios, and a guide to where to snag them.

Sweet Treats

Robert Adams, culinary director of Hollywood Studios, told Culturess the menu is all about celebrating the past and looking toward the future — especially when it comes to sweets.

“One of the big things we have is a nice dessert overlay in the park,” said Adams. “These desserts really represent not only the 30th celebration, but the three pillars our park is really focused on right now and in the future, which are Mickey and Minnie, Star Wars and Pixar.”

Verrines can be found throughout Hollywood Studios at Rosie’s All-American Café, Backlot Express, Catalina Eddie’s, Fairfax Fare and ABC Commissary.

“Legacy” Dishes

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is also promoting “legacy” dishes during the anniversary celebration – iconic dishes that have always been popular with park-goers.

“These are recipes that have been tried and true that guests love and come back for,” said Adams. “They’ve been in our park since day one.”

If you’ve satisfied your sweet tooth, consider revisiting an old favorite or trying something new with these mouth-watering entrees.
