19 frozen treats to keep you cool at Walt Disney World

Peak theme parks season is quickly approaching, and at Walt Disney World that means frozen treats are in endless supply throughout the resort!

With all of the exciting new announcements at Walt Disney World, including the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, summer is going to be pretty busy and very hot at the Orlando parks. While your family is traveling around the theme parks, hotels, and Disney Springs there are some great frozen treats to help you stay cool.

The Bombolato

The Bombolato is a sweet brioche donut filled with your choice of ice cream! There are plenty of ice cream choices, but chocolate is fantastic in this sweet treat. You can find it at Disney Springs at Vivoli il Gelato.

Jungle Juice Slushy

If you’ve ever dined at Boma or Kona Cafe you’ll know about the magic that is jungle juice. The tropical juice blend can also be found as a refreshing slushy for super hot days. You can find it at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Dole Whip Froscato

A treat just for adults is the Dole Whip Froscato. This blended slushy drink is made with Dole Whip mix, moscato and vodka for a sweet punch. You can find it at The Basket at Disney Springs.

Dole Whip Floats


Sometimes classic treats are all you need, and that’s where Dole Whip floats come in. The pineapple soft serve is covered in pineapple juice for a truly spectacular treat. You can find this at either Pineapple Lanai at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort or Aloha Isle at Magic Kingdom Park.

Soft serve ice cream is a theme park must! Guests can get this at Disney’s Animal Kingdom near Expedition Everest. You can get it as a swirl or just one flavor, and in a cup or cone.

The Secret Identity


Icy frozen drinks are a great way to cool off in the summer. The Secret Identity is made with frozen Coke and topped with cherry cotton candy. You can find it in the new Incredibles area at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Key Lime Pie On A Stick


Key lime pie is a Florida essential, and now Disney is serving it dipped in white chocolate and on a stick. The tart snack can be found at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the Incredibles area.

Fruits of Mo’ara Popsicle

Inside Pandora: The World of Avatar you won’t find Mickey’s Premium Bars but you will find this Fruits of Mo’ara popsicle. It has three fruit layers, raspberry, lime and strawberry. You can find this inside Pandora: The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park.

PB&J Milkshake

Peanut butter and jelly is a classic combo, and you an even get it as a milkshake! Head inside to the to-go bar at Hollywood Studios’ 50’s Prime Time Cafe to get this one.

Mickey’s Premium Bars

Mickey’s Premium Bars are the quintessential Disney frozen treat. Vanilla ice cream is dipped in chocolate and shaped like the main mouse for a fun treat. You can find these throughout Walt Disney World.

Lemon Soft Serve

Ice cream is getting even cuter with the Tangled cone. Lemon soft serve is topped off with edible flowers and glitter for a pretty and yummy treat. You can find these at Storybook Treats at Magic Kingdom Park.

Strawberry Minnie Shake


Wild milkshakes are all the rage right now, and the Strawberry Minnie Shake is a great option for chilling out and enjoying a cool treat. It can be found at Beaches and Cream at Disney’s Yacht Club.

The Peter Pan Float

Just like Tangled, Peter Pan is getting in on the themed treats action. The Peter Pan float is lime soft serve with Sprite and a white chocolate feather. You can get this at Storybook Treats at Magic Kingdom Park.

The Night Blossom Slushy

The Night Blossom slushy is one of Instagram’s favorite drinks. The layered slushy is made with limeade, apple, and desert pear flavors then topped off with passion fruit boba. You can find this at Pongu Pongu at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Bubble Waffles


Bubble waffles have become somewhat of a trend in food. Disney Springs is getting in on the action at Aristocrepes. You can get bubble waffles in strawberry or salted caramel options.

Lime Dole Whip


Another adults only frozen treat is the Lime Dole Whip margarita. The tangy tart drink is blended to frozen cocktail perfection. You can find it at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

Ice Cream Sandwiches

When ice cream and macrons come together it’s a truly magical treat. At Epcot’s France pavilion you can find the ice cream sandwiches in multiple flavors throughout the year.

Citrus Swirl

If pineapple isn’t your thing, then orange might be. The citrus swirl is another soft serve option at Magic Kingdom. You can find it at Sunshine Tree Terrace just over the bridge into Adventureland.

Ample Hills’ Ice Cream Flight

Frozen treats can be found in abundance outside of the parks at Walt Disney World. A great option is Ample Hills and their ice cream flight. You can choose up to six flavors to be added to your flight. Ample Hills is located at Disney’s Boardwalk.
