The teaser for next week’s episode of Game of Thrones promises an epic battle between the White Walkers and Winterfell, leaving all our characters in danger.

This week’s episode of Game of Thrones had plenty of intense moments—particularly the final scene, during which Jon reveals his true identity to Daenerys—but all of those scenes appear to be child’s play in comparison to next week’s episode, which will be a nearly-90-minute battle sequence for Winterfell. The army of the dead has arrived at Winterfell’s doorstep, and all of our favorite characters are in graver danger than ever.

The promo trailer for next week’s episode gives fans some insight into just how huge the battle with be, and things look bleak for the future of Winterfell.

Watch next week’s teaser here:

It’s impossible to know the outcome of the Battle for Winterfell, but given that we’re talking about Game of Thrones here, it’s probably a safe bet that some of our beloved characters will perish—especially considering how satisfying all the reunions and meetings during the past two episodes have been.

Here are five clues as to what’s coming next week.

Sansa’s words at the beginning hint that they might lose the battle

The promo trailer opens with Sansa saying, “The most heroic thing we can do now is look the truth in the face.” Her words are bleak, and it’s possible that they suggest an unhappy ending for the Battle for Winterfell. Many fans have predicted that our heroes might lose the Starks’ home to the Night King and his army, and those words could prove that theory.

Of course, there’s also a chance that Sansa speaks these words before the battle, as many of the characters are anticipating losing. Let’s hope they’re wrong…

Something is terrifying the Starks

During the teaser, we get a shot of Jon looking horrified in the middle of the battle. We also get another clip of Arya running through Winterfell, clearly panicked. The two of them aren’t exactly easy to spook, which means that things must be really bad on the battle field. Could this be further proof that the dead Starks in the crypts of Winterfell are joining the Night King’s ranks?

Things are still tense between Dany and Jon

Daenerys was livid with Jon at the end of tonight’s episode, mostly because his huge reveal proves a genuine threat to her claim to the Iron Throne. If fans were hoping that the two of them might patch things up before the Night King arrives, it’s looking less and less likely. In the promo, she tells him that “the dead are already here,” and there’s a definite bite to her tone. She is not happy with the former King in the North…

The Night King is coming for Bran.

During tonight’s episode, Bran reveals what the Night King is after: him. The Three Eyed Raven preserves the memories of men, and as long as he exists, the Night King will seek to destroy him.  Bran agrees to act as bait for the enemy, and Theon volunteers to protect him.

The promo trailer shows Theon nocking a fiery arrow, which means that either the Night King or one of his lackeys is probably coming for Bran during next week’s episode. It seems unlikely that Bran and Theon will be able to fight him on their own, but the two of them have surprised us before.

Brienne’s going to need to hold their forces together

The final clip of the promo shows Brienne shouting at her fellow soldiers to “hold their ground,” which means there’s a good chance that chaos is going to break out among Jon’s and Dany’s armies. Most of them have never seem the army of the dead, so it makes sense that they’d be horrified by what’s waiting beyond the gates of Winterfell. But could they have more of a reason to run in the opposite direction? We’ll soon find out…
