Trust Me, starring Alfred Enoch, premieres today on BBC 1

Trust Me Season 2 is set to premiere tonight, April 16, on BBC 1 and Harry Potter star Alfred Enoch is set to star in the lead role.

Harry Potter fans will remember Alfred Enoch as Dean Thomas. The Boy Who Lived’s fellow Gryffindor roommate. Enoch has had a successful career since his time in the Wizarding World came to an end, appearing in big-name TV shows such as How to Get Away with Murder. He is now set to star in the upcoming BBC 1 series, Trust Me.

Enoch is set to take the lead role in the BBC 1 series. Taking over from Jodie Whittaker. Who stepped down from the series after being cast as the 13th Doctor in the British sci-fi series, Doctor Who.

Trust Me is an anthology series, Season 1 focused on a nurse who loses her job when she decides to whistle blow. This leaves her having to take drastic measures in order to provide for her daughter. Overall, Trust Me is a series that focus on and exposes those who we trust with our very own care; doctors.

Aldred Enoch’s character will be the main focus this time around. Playing a character who is a corporal in the British Army. While on active duty in Afghanistan he’s injured. Suffering from a partially severed spinal cord and the knowledge most of his unit was shot and killed, Enoch’s character is struggling with a lot when we first meet him.
