BTS finally hit the stage on Saturday Night Live to give two stellar performances. The band sang “Boy with Luv” as well as “Mic Drop.”

It’s been a long time coming, but BTS finally performed on Saturday Night Live, making ARMYs (BTS’ loyal fans) absolutely ecstatic.

Even though BTS is preparing to do more shows for its world tour, that’s not happening until May, which made Saturday’s performance on SNL extra special. To make up for that time fans will have to wait, ARMYs in New York camped out along the sidewalk for a chance to score standby tickets to the night’s performance. Needless to say, for the people who saw the performance both live and on television, it was beyond amazing.

The band played two songs Saturday night. The first of those was “Boy with Luv,” from their latest album, Map of the Soul: Persona. It also had a long-anticipated music video come out this week, with fans counting down the hours until the video dropped. The song features Halsey (who was also a musical guest and host on Saturday Night Live this season), but she did not come back to SNL to perform with them this week.

The second of the songs BTS performed that night was “Mic Drop.” If you watch the clip from SNL, you’ll see host Emma Stone introduced the band by holding up her fingers to form a “hand heart” — a popular gesture in South Korea to make the shape of a heart — but the tiny little heart doesn’t even compare to how much love we had for them that night. The guys rocked the house again, changing out of their suave black suits in the first performance to their fun, colorful ensemble for “Mic Drop.”

If you aren’t swooning already just thinking about the performances, then you’ll want to watch the full clips to see BTS take New York City by storm.

After watching both of those clips, there’s only one thing left to ask: When will BTS be invited back to Saturday Night Live?
