Dobby’s Grave from Harry Potter has been destroyed
By Callum Gunn
The unofficial grave of Dobby the House Elf. A grave visited by many Harry Potter fans has been destroyed and nobody is sure why.
Dobby the House Elf is one of the bravest characters in the Harry Potter franchise. His actions are somewhat questionable, sending a rogue bludger after Harry during a Quidditch match for example, but you can’t deny he had the very best intentions.
Of course, it was during his final moments in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows we remember the most. When he selflessly gave his life for his friends.

When this moment was created for the film, Dobby’s Grave was created. A grave that remained after filming was complete. Harry Potter fans from far and wide would visit the site, but this is no longer possible.

As Dobby’s Grave has been destroyed; or removed. Something has happened to the Harry Potter landmark. The landmark was located at Pembrokeshire’s Freshwater West beach.
It’s not known who removed the landmark or why. There is the usual suspicion of vandalism, an obsessed fan, etc, there is also the possibility staff who look after the area removed Dobby’s Grave as well. However, nobody has come forward to say anything officially, so, at the moment, your guess as to what has happened is as good as mine.
Hopefully, whatever has happened, it will be resolved and Dobby’s Grave will be back in its rightful place. It may be the grave of a fictional character, so to some this may sound silly, but Dobby does mean a lot to many Harry Potter fans.
