The Harry Potter Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle light show at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood to feature drone technology.

Wizarding World fans are in for a treat at the Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood. The Harry Potter Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle light show scheduled to take place at the theme parks is to feature drone technology.

The news comes via Attraction Magazine, who captured the drones in action on film.

They captured the footage at the Universal Studios Hollywood, who are to launch the Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle light show first. It is to be opened to the public on April 13–28, and then again on May 25–27.  Universal Orlando Resort is still to announce when they plan to perform the light show, but it will be at some point this year.

It’s an impressive sight, and I am sure you have already figure out what the drone formation created. If you haven’t I’ll give you a hint. It’s a certain famous Patronus.

It’s not clear if this is the only formation the drones will be undertaking during the Harry Potter Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle light show. I can’t see it be the only one, it might be, but I think there will be more formations, so if you are planning to attend the show at Universal Studios Hollywood keep an eye out for more to come.
