Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will be a must-visit for Disney foodies

When Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens, guests will be immersed in their own Star Wars story, including delicious galactic food and beverage options.

Where can visitors to Batuu get a good meal? Inside Black Spire Outpost on Batuu, guests will find five different options for snacks, meals and drinks. Classic Star Wars drinks like Blue Milk, and new options like Outpost Mix are sure to be guest favorites.

Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo is the place where guests can find hearty meals to enjoy before they wait to see a favorite character, or hop in line to ride Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. Inside the fast-casual restaurant, guests will find dishes like The Smoked Kaadu Ribs, which is smoked country sticky pork ribs with blueberry corn muffin and cabbage slaw.

Wash it all down with a signature drink like Moof Juice, a non-alcoholic juice blend.

If you’re looking for something sweet after your meal, Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo will be serving two options, a raspberry creme puff, and a chocolate cake. Both of these sound like a sweet ending to a yummy meal.

Guests at Black Spire Outpost who are looking for something more grab-and-go should stop by Ronto Roasters. Here an old pod racing engine fires up a spit filled with exotic meats used to make sandwiches. The signature dish here is the Ronto Wrap, which will be filled with spiced grilled sausage and roasted pork.

For a snack to munch on while touring Batuu, stop by  Kat Saka’s Kettle. This local street vendor is selling a mix of sweet, savory, and spicy flavored popcorn snacks called Outpost Mix. Move over Dole Whips because we are already sure this is going to be the most addictive new Disney Parks snack!

When it’s time for a drink and a little relaxation time after all of the fun on the two new attractions, Oga’s Cantina is going to be the place to go. Guests will encounter a menu filled with exotic beverages, and see a familiar friend. Former Star Tours pilot, R-3X, otherwise known as Rex, is now the cantina’s DJ!

Don’t worry if you’re under 21, Oga’s Cantina will be serving non-alcoholic beverages, along with adult libations and some light snacks! One of the non-alcoholic beverages we cannot wait to try is the Black Spire Brew which is a coffee drink with cold brew. The Jedi Mind Trick is an alcoholic drink that is meant to start and finish in different ways. Instagram is going to be obsessed with the snack Oga’s Obsession, which is served in a Petri dish with popping pearls, dried fruits, and Pop Rocks candy.

Lastly, the Milk Stand is where guests can find the infamous Blue Milk from the Star Wars saga. Guests can find three options here, classic blue milk, frozen blue milk, and frozen green milk. Each of the options are made with plant-based dairy and are vegan, so most anyone can enjoy! The Blue Bantha Milk is going to have a berry tastes, which the Green Thala-Siren Milk is gong to taste tropical.

Innovative and creative drinks from around the galaxy will be available at Star Wars: GalaxyÕs Edge when it opens May 31, 2019, at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, Calif., and Aug. 29, 2019, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. We are even more excited to enjoy Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge with all of that yummy food coming to Disneyland and Walt Disney World in the next few months.
