Harry Melling has joined the cast of the up and coming Netflix Original Film, The Devil All The Time. An Original Film based on the 2011 novel of the same name by Donald Ray Pollock.

Potterheads will remember Harry Melling as Dudley Dursley from the Harry Potter franchise. The actor has been a rising star since his days in the Wizarding World, appearing both on stage and on screen. His next project is The Devil All The Time, a Netflix Original Film.

Deadline reported the news Melling was joining the cast in the Original Film. The movie is based on the 2011 novel of the same name, written by Donald Ray Pollock.

Pattinson appeared in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire as Hufflepuff Cedric Diggory, who was tragically killed off at the end of the movie when Lord Voldemort returned. Small fun fact for Potterheads, while Goblet of Fire is the Harry Potter movie Pattinson appeared in, it is the only movie from the Harry Potter franchise that the Dursley’s didn’t appear in, so while Melling and Pattinson are technically classed as fellow Harry Potter actors, there is a good chance they never crossed paths with each other.

Anyway, back to The Devil All The Time and the Netflix Original is being described as the following:

"Desperate to save his dying wife, a man turns to prayer — and more desperate measures."

There is no release date set for the movie yet. Filming is now taking place, so limited details about the movie is expected right now. Once we hear more about the Original we will let you know.
