Daniel Radcliffe spotted on the set of his new movie, Escape From Pretoria

Daniel Radcliffe has come a long way since his time in Harry Potter and that is very clear in his new movie, Escape From Pretoria.

Reports had come in at the end of February that Daniel Radcliffe was in Australia filming his new movie, Escape From Pretoria. Those reports have definitely turned out to be correct as the former Harry Potter actor has now been spotted on set.

Escape From Pretoria is based on a true story about two men, Tim Jenkin and Stephen Lee, and how they escaped from the South African prison Pretoria in 1979. Daniel Radcliffe is playing the role of Tim.

The two were sent to prison for working for a South African political party, the African National Conference. They were sent there alongside other anti-apartheid campaigners, including Nelson Mandela.

Images have emerged via a variety of different outlets of Radcliffe in action as Tim Jenkin. The Daily Mail shared exclusive images from the set of Escape From Pretoria. You can see them all for yourself just here.

7 News Adelaide shared a video report of Radcliffe at the Mitcham train station in Adelaide, the city located in South Australia where some of the scenes for Escape From Pretoria are being filmed.

Currently, there is no release date set for the movie. As soon as one is released, you will hear about it right here at Wizards and Whatnot.
