The cast of Queer Eye is doing Lip Sync Battle, and we are not prepared

Karamo Brown as Beyoncé? Jonathan Van Ness as Lady Gaga? Both of them in heels? It’s a gift from Lip Sync Battle and Queer Eye straight to us.

Even though Queer Eye season 3 is a ways away, the cast is doing its level best to keep in the public eye and continue granting us the gift that is their presence. Moreover, that means doing things that are fun, ridiculous, and ridiculously fun, like being on Lip Sync Battle on January 17.

That’s right: the cast of Queer Eye and Chrissy Teigen will be on the same stage, and LL Cool J will be there too, we guess. To quote Jonathan Van Ness, “Can you believe?!”

Oh yes, Jonathan. Yes, we can, because there’s video.

Just in case you need to fully understand the references being made, here is the original:

What may be even better is that both Karamo and Jonathan retain their beards, even as they’re doing full on Beyoncé and Lady Gaga, respectively. Sure, it might throw some people off, but it’s so perfectly them — how could we ask Jonathan to shave that work of grooming art? — that we can’t say no to it. Other than that, their looks and choreography seem to be on point. (Nice blue lipstick, Karamo! It goes really well with the entire ensemble.)

However, the other three members of the cast are bringing their A-game as well, or should we say the B-game, for none other than Britney Spears? As you can see in the teaser, Tan France, Bobby Berk, and Antoni Porowski will bring the pop princess to the LSB stage. Judging by the costumes they’re wearing, we’re expecting “Circus,” “Toxic,” and “Oops! I Did It Again” to all make appearances, but Britney has a long career and a lot of hits, meaning there could be more songs involved. Who’s stopping Jonathan and Karamo from bringing in other Lady Gaga or Beyoncé songs, either?

The true question here is whether or not any of the other guests on Lip Sync Battle‘s fifth season will really be able to top this. We’re not saying it’s impossible — a Tom Holland and Zendaya rematch could probably do it — but it’s looking particularly tough.

Who are you backing: Team Karamo/Jonathan, or Team Tan/Bobby/Antoni?
