Young Justice: Outsiders episodes 1-3: How to watch online
Young Justice is finally returning, coincidently on DC’s young streaming platform, DC Universe. We’re more than ready for the new season of Young Justice, seeing as DC Universe has changed our viewing experience a bit (for the better).
DC Universe has revived Young Justice, and as Young Justice: Outsiders introduces new team members, the new season focuses on new threats on a global and intergalactic scale. With meta-human trafficking being a consistent theme in the third season, we can expect to see some thorough sleuthing in addition to the canon crimefighting from the Outsiders team.
As we already know, the Young Justice: Outsiders viewing experience slightly deviates from how we traditionally watch a new episode every week. Unlike the singular new episode per week system, DC Universe gives us three Outsiders episodes per week. We’re definitely not complaining about the additional perk to our Fridays.
According to the DC Universe, the first three episodes will jump into the formation of the team and the primary threat:
Episode one, “Princes All” will introduce the assembly of the team:
"Dick Grayson gathers a squad to shut down meta-human trafficking."
And in episode two, “Royal We,” viewers will likely see the team work together for the first time:
"Dick Grayson and his team go undercover in Markovia."
Whereas, episode three, “Eminent Threat,” introduces a minor antagonist:
"Conner Kent and Price Brion Markov are in the clutches of Count Vertigo."
From the synopsis on the first three episodes, the Young Justice: Outsiders premiere will kickoff with Dick Grayson (Nightwing) constructing a team of crimefighters, the introducing of the ongoing meta-human trafficking epidemic, as well as the introduction of an antagonist, Count Vertigo.
Granted, Count Vertigo will likely be a minor misdirection used to distract the newly-formed team from the overarching villain of the season: the anonymous person (or team of people) who is kidnapping meta-humans and using them for nefarious purposes.
As the series delves into the new season, we’ll likely see the team go through some growing pains. After all, every newborn team has to work through a healthy amount of qualms and interpersonal issues. Regardless of what the rest of the season holds, we’re whelmed to see the Outsiders in an animated series.
