As everyone begins to say goodbye to one year and hello to another, a picture-perfect local could be the jumpstart to an amazing year ahead.

New Year’s Eve destinations usually fall into two different categories: relaxation and high energy. When choosing a destination, it is best to think about your own personality. If you don’t like sitting on the beach and staring at the ocean, then you shouldn’t spend the last night of the year on the sand.

New Year’s Eve in New York City is a tradition. Many people brave the elements in Times Square and watch the ball drop. This massive, collective experience is truly one of the best ways to celebrate New Year’s Eve.

Although many celebrities are in Time Square to perform, the collective experience is still quite enjoyable.
