RTÉ plans to show every Harry Potter movie over the Christmas period

It wouldn’t be Christmas without a movie marathon of some sorts and RTÉ is airing the best movie marathon of them all, Harry Potter.

Everybody has their Christmas movie tradition when it comes to this time of year. Personally, I watch Die Hard on Christmas Eve. It’s the perfect Christmas movie and it features Alan Rickman. What’s not to like about the movie? However, not everyone is into Die Hard some have other traditions like Harry Potter. And if that is you, RTÉ is the place to tune into over the Christmas period.

The Irish National Television and Radio Broadcaster network has lined up the Wizarding World movie marathon. Which will begin on Chrismas Eve and end on Dec. 28. Some of the movies will be shown back to back, check out the full schedule for yourself below.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets – Dec. 25 at 15:40 on RTÉ2

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban – Dec. 26 at 15:25 on RTÉ2

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire – Dec. 26 at 17:50 on RTÉ2

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix – Dec. 27 at 15:20 on RTÉ2

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince – Dec. 27 at 17:45 on RTÉ2

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 – Dec. 28 at 15:45 on RTÉ2, followed by the Deathly Hallows Part 2– Dec. 28 at 18:15 on RTÉ2

If you don’t have access to the RTÉ network then fear not. Christmas is the time of year for miracles so it wouldn’t be surprising to hear that other broadcasters air their very own Wizarding World marathon.
