Demi Lovato, Meghan Markle top Google’s most searched people list this year

Google released its annual search information, and Demi Lovato tops the list of most searched people in entertainment this year.

We all spend a lot of time no the internet and a lot of time looking things up on Google. While sometimes we use the search engine for serious topics, most of the time we’re looking up celebrities, movies, and plenty of other things related to the entertainment industry.

Every year, Google shares an annual list revealing the most searched topics. This year, Demi Lovato topped the list for musicians as well as people, beating major names such as Meghan Markle and Brett Kavanaugh.

This list looks at Google searches that were searched more in analogous time periods during the previous year. Events such as Lovato making headlines for going back into rehab likely contributes to a spike in searches for her.

As far as songs are concerned, “Bohemian Rhapsody” topped the list, which makes sense considering the new rock biopic on Freddie Mercury came out this year.
