Fantastic Beasts 3 finished and J.K. Rowling tells Brazil to brace itself

J.K. Rowling has finished the script for Fantastic Beasts 3, and she has let the world know that Rio De Janerio in Brazil had better brace itself.
While the world is still coming down from the high of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. J.K. Rowling has been hard at work on the script of Fantastic Beasts 3. A script which she has now completed. In announcing to the world that it is ready, she also let Rio De Janerio in Brazil know that they need to brace themselves for the arrival of Newt.
So can we pretty much take this as official confirmation that Fantastic Beasts 3 will be set in Brazil at some point?

Well, technically we can’t take it as official confirmation but we can certainly assume that it is. Rowling is certainly teasing the confirmation anyway.

She actually teased the idea of Fantastic Beasts 3 heading to Rio De Janerio some time ago when she updated her Twitter Header Image with an image of the city in Brazil.
She also let her followers know how she thought she would have learned how to spell the city properly by now after writing it out so many times. Sending buzzing signals everywhere that Fantastic Beasts 3 would be heading to the country.
It was the only project that she was known to be working on at the time, so it seemed the most logical that Fantastic Beasts 3 was off to Brazil. But today’s announcement on her official Twitter account does certainly seem to back all of this up.

A wizarding school exists in Brazil, and no doubt there will be many magical creatures out there that Newt will want to meet. It’s going to be an exciting place to visit and see a new wizarding community introduced to the wizarding world.
