Fandom 250: Where did Harry Potter and the Wizarding World rank?

This year’s Fandom 250 is in and Harry Potter and the rest of the Wizarding World made an appearance. How high did we rank? Let’s check it out.

Harry Potter and the rest of the Wizarding World has some of the best fans in the world. Potterheads are truly amazing people. So amazing that you are being honored in the Fandom 250 list this year.

So where did we manage to end up on the list?

Well, out of the 250 Fandoms, Harry Potter / J.K. Rowling came in at an amazing No. 25 in the overall Fandom 250 ranking and 3rd in the movies category.

So forgive me if I just take a moment to say the following:

The fandoms that ranked ahead of us in the Fandom 250 when it comes to movies were Star Wars, coming in at No. 2, and Black Panther, at No.1.

Star Wars was actually ahead of us last year so it isn’t surprising to see them come ahead of us again, and Black Panther had such a great year it truly deserves the No.1 spot when it comes to the movie division.

It’s been such a huge year for the Wizarding World. 20 years of Harry Potter celebrations have been taking place all across the country.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald debuted in theatres this November. The latest chapter in J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World has been a huge success so far. So much so that Potterheads already want Fantastic Beasts 3 to come out.

The stage production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child went international as well. Debuting on Broadway, and announcing that they will soon begin production in San Fransico, Germany, and Australia.

It really is a great time to be a Potterhead right now. And to end such a great year, especially on the 20th anniversary, by making the Fandom 250 is amazing! Harry Potter might have been going for over two decades now, but it is showing no signs of ever slowing down.
