The Office stars reunite again, so obviously reboot rumors are here
The Office cast reunited once again, leaving fans with way too many questions about whether a reboot’s happening or if they’re just playing with our emotions.
Fans of The Office still can’t get enough of the show. Even though it has been off the air for years, the internet and many, many people still love the hilarious crew at Dunder Mifflin. (It’s hard to believe it’s been five years since the final episode!) It’s definitely one of those television series that you watch when you just want to feel happy and comforted, and it’s a show many people have watched over and over again.
Recently, the cast of The Office has sparked rumors of a reboot thanks to them reuniting on several occasions. Steve Carell recently hosted Saturday Night Live, and was soon joined by Office castmates Jenna Fischer (Pam), Ed Helms (Andy) and Ellie Kemper (Erin Hannon). They, as well as SNL‘s Kenan Thompson urged Carell to go ahead and approve a reboot of the show.
Then, this past Sunday, more stars of the show got together in a mini-reunion of sorts. 10 of The Office‘s memorable cast reunited including Rainn Wilson, Angela Kinsey, Jenna Fischer, Phyllis Smith, Ed Helms, and Oscar Nunez. They all met up at the showrunner Greg Daniel’s house and shared an adorable pic on social media.
Fans are loving this photo, and we do, too. Jenna Fischer posted on Twitter about how they were attempting to recreate an iconic photo from The Office itself.
While sure, these celebs could just be catching up and enjoying time together — they did film a lengthy series together and are likely good friends. But — but we say — one line in particular from Fischer’s post has fans freaking out over a reboot possibility.
“We will see you soon,” she wrote.
Just last year, TV Line reported that NBC was in talks to revive The Office for the 2018-2019 season. While this year is nearly over, we’re all super hopeful for 2019.
