Looking to get your hands on free energy in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery? Here are all the current locations to go through to Year 5.
Every year, new locations are added for free energy in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. They’re not always available, but with the long list of options at your disposal, you’ll find it much easier to keep your energy levels up and avoid paying for it throughout the game.
With a new year brings new locations. It’s time to get a complete and updated list of the current ways to get free energy all the way through to Year 5. Make sure you have them noted down so you’re never caught short when you need it the most.
The locations are all in alphabetical order to make it easier to find them on the list.

Castle Grounds: Just in front of Hagrid’s Hut, there’s a stick. That’s your place for free energy.
Diagon Alley: Head to the alleyway and you’ll see a coin bag available to pick up.
Dungeons: Most of the time you wouldn’t want to head to dungeons, but the Hogwarts Dungeons have a House Elf in front of the Kitchens offering out free energy.
East Towers: There are two locations in the East Towers. The first is just to the left of the Charms Classroom where the empty painting is. The second is between the Divination Classroom and the Astronomy Tower, where Peeves the Poltergeist will be waiting for you.
Forbidden Forest: Take a trip towards the Spider’s Lair and look at the left before you enter. There’s a spiderweb that’s full of free energy.
Hogsmeade: Head into the local village and go to the alleyway between Honeydukes and The Three Broomsticks. There’s a student on a sled often waiting for you.
Lower Floor (East): Between the History of Magic Classroom and the Library, there’s a stack of books on a concrete bench just waiting for you.
Lower Floor (West): There are two locations here for free energy in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. Both are to the right of the Great Hall. Grab the torch or the middle suit of armor.
Magical Creatures Reserve: It’s time to head to the Borf between the Forest and the Grasslands
West Towers: Finally, head to the Prefects’ Bathroom. Before you enter, go to the left where there’s a flower painting waiting to offer you free energy.

It’s worth having a mixture of locations at your disposal to make sure the free energy has recharged in each of the locations while playing Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. This longer list makes it much easier to avoid spending gems on pesky energy.
