Tom Felton would return as Draco Malfoy if Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was made into a movie

A lot of you have expressed how you would like Harry Potter and the Cursed Child turned into a movie and if it was, Tom Felton would happily return as Draco Malfoy.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has taken the world by storm. Everywhere it has gone, hundreds of thousands of Potterheads, maybe more, have come to see the story of The Boy Who Lived 19 years on play out on stage. However, not everyone has managed to see the production and a lot of fans would like to see it eventually become a movie. Something which, if it did happen, Tom Felton would happily work on as Draco Malfoy.

During an interview with Access, Tom Felton made the revelation about Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. He was conducting the interview to discuss his new YouTube Premium series, Origin. A Sci-Fi series which sees Felton play a character who is bound for a different world to start afresh and new. It is available to stream now, with Felton starring alongside fellow Harry Potter star Natalia Tena.

Tom Felton’s revelation about reprising his role as Draco Malfoy is something that a lot of Potterheads will be happy to hear. While many have expressed their desire to see the production turn into a movie, a lot of fans have also expressed they would only want the original cast of the Harry Potter movies to be a part of it if it happened.

However, while Felton would be on board, it has been expressed in the past that Harry Potter and the Cursed Child would not be turned into a movie. There is always the possibility that this decision would be reversed, but as things stand right now, it will not be happening anytime soon.
