Slightly smaller than the actual Newt Scamander case, it can double up as a keepsake style box. Complete with metallic locks.
The “Muggle worthy” dials that we see in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them are equipped. Using the dial will allow the case to be opened in either the wizard or non-wizard modes. The non-wizard mode shows the contents to be fairly plain and boring, exactly what you want a Muggle to find.

Wizarding mode is where all the magical secrets are hidden. Inside you will find a replica Newt Scamander’s wand pen, along with a 128-page, 4-1/4 x 7-inch notebook. The notebook contains images and details of the all magical creatures that Newt came across.
There is also sound activation when in Wizarding mode. There are seven sounds in total, each one, playing the sound of a different magical beast.
