Letitia Wright and John Boyega to star in romantic sci-fi film

Fans of Letitia Wright and John Boyega can jump for joy as the two are joining up for a romantic sci-fi film called Hold Back the Stars.

Letitia Wright and John Boyega have already won our hearts the past couple of years by appearing as some of the most endearing characters in the MCU and Star Wars respectively.

Letitia Wright played Shuri in Black Panther, and we loved her approach to the sarcastic, young genius. Wright has also had success on television shows such as in Black Mirror, for which she was nominated for an Emmy. John Boyega has also won us all over with his earnest, caring portrayal of Finn from the new Star Wars trilogy. We love these two actors, and we know a lot of you do, too.

So, we are definitely excited that the two of them will be working together in an upcoming romantic sci-fi film called Hold Back the Stars. The movie is being called a mix between Romeo & Juliet and Gravity. So, we are expecting a lot of romantic, emotional drama as well as thrilling space imagery and adventure. We are excited to see the two of them take on more lead roles and act alongside one another.

According to Screen Rant, the story is about two lovers who are looking back at their time on Earth when it was in a utopian state. But, in the present, they are trapped in space and only have 90 minutes of air left before they will die. The film will be directed by Mike Cahill and the script is written by Christy Hall.

At the moment, no studio has picked the film up, but some sort of deal will likely be made soon. Of course, it would be silly to not pick the film up when two up-and-coming stars like Wright and Boyega are at the helm of the project.

Are you excited for this film? We are interested to see if and how everything comes together, and we are definitely always here for seeing more of these two.
