Spice Girls fans, prepare for an early holiday present in the form of getting those reunion tour rumors finally confirmed, with just one exception.

Remember those rumors of a Spice Girls reunion tour? It’s time to croon a chorus of “Never Give Up on the Good Times” (or “If You Wanna Have Some Fun,” whichever you prefer), because the reunion tour of dreams has come true!

Victoria Beckham talks about Spice Girls

Get ready to count heads as we applaud the singers set to participate in the Spice Girls tour. From Mel B (Scary Spice) and Melanie C (Sporty Spice) to Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), and Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), all songstresses are preparing to head off on a stadium tour in the U. in 2019, according to Entertainment Weekly.

But what about Posh Spice? Victoria Beckham issued a statement.

Victoria described her participation in the Spice Girls as a “hugely important part of my life.” Although Beckham didn’t reveal the exact reason she decided to opt out of the tour, she wished her “girls so much love and fun as they go back on tour.”

And Posh Spice had only a positive forecast for the tour.

“I know they will put on an amazing show and the fantastic fans past and present are going to have a wonderful time!” predicted Victoria.

The four ladies announced the tour via their Twitter account on Monday. There, Mel B, Mel C, Bunton, and Halliwell got together in a news-style video with the four chaotically trying to pull themselves together for the announcement (something reminiscent of their 1997 movie, Spice World). But as chaotic as it was trying to pull themselves together, the ladies were able to harmonize over one thing: a short and sweet teaser of their song “Spice Up Your Life.”

Spice Girls tour tickets soon to be available

In addition to the Twitter announcement from the group, Mel B headed to her own Instagram page to share the reunion tour news.  Mel previously had asserted that the reunion would happen, even though Beckham had denied the rumors.

If you want to see the Spice Girls on tour in the UK, mark your calendar for June 2018. The tour will include special guest Jess Glynne and start June 1, 2019, in Manchester at the Etihad Stadium.

Other locations on the reunion tour include Coventry, Sunderland, Edinburgh, and Bristol. The final performance will take place at Wembley Stadium in London. No pre-sales are planned, with tickets set to go on sale this Saturday. For those of you not in the UK, here’s to hoping that the tour will go international.
