Harry Potter star Tom Felton in James Arthur’s Empty Space video
By Callum Gunn
James Arthur has gone and got himself Harry Potter star Tom Felton to feature in his latest music video, Empty Space. Check it out.
Shrugging off his Slytherin wizarding robes and donning the look of a loner, Harry Potter star Tom Felton has a new role in the new music video for James Arthur’s new single, Empty Space.
Available for all to see, Felton gives a brilliant performance in the music video, although saying he plays a loner might be a bit polite. As it does come across as though he is playing a stalker more than anything else. However, come the end of the video, you might have a different opinion of that view, as like all music videos there is always a twist of some sorts.

It initially opens up with Felton hiding in his car, watching a couple in another car making out. A pretty weird thing to be doing obviously. We then see Felton watching old movies of himself and this other woman. Leading us to believe that she is his ex-girlfriend.

Things then get worse for Felton from then on. We see the Harry Potter star spiral out of control, his behavior becoming more aggressive, more depressing and more images of the once happy couple play out. We can see, just from Felton’s reaction alone, how much it griefs him that they are no more.
As the music video comes to a close, the story gets flipped on its head as we next witness a car wreck with the girlfriend in the driver’s seat, badly injured. Felton is in the passenger seat, covered in blood, making us the viewer question suddenly how this relationship ended.
The music video is just under four minutes long and you can see it for yourself below:
