Crazy Ex-Girlfriend preview: Rebecca has a lot on her plate
Last week, Rebecca found herself in a new career on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and now she is going to have to deal with a love-struck Nathaniel on top of that.
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is helping Rebecca Bunch rebuild her life and that means that she has a lot of catching up to do. On this week’s episode, Rebecca is faced with revisiting her past and trying to rebuild a relationship with her half-brother, Tucker. In doing so, she realizes that they aren’t that different and the episode takes her on a journey of discovering a connection to her brother that she didn’t know she had before.
While Rebecca is learning how to connect with Tucker, Nathaniel is busy trying to find ways to win Rebecca over. At the end of last week, we learned that Nathaniel was truly in love with Rebecca (which is strange since he was extremely rude to her at the end of the season opener). During the wedding, while Rebecca spoke, Nathaniel was rolling his eyes and upset and he realized the reason he was so angry with Rebecca was because he loved her and wanted her to love him back.
Since everyone is trying to reconnect with their loved ones this episode, Paula also tries to get reacquainted with her children and plans an activity that forces her entire family to work together. She had been so focused on her friendship with Rebecca that she neglects her family and has to rebuild.
It is nice to see that the show is going to focus on everyone trying to get their lives back on track after dealing with the Trent situation and what happened to Rebecca after she gets left at the altar by Josh. To have everyone returning to normalcy and trying to readjust, we can see that the show is starting to tie up loose ends. One of those loose ends is still Greg Serrano, but we’ll have to wait and see when he finally shows back up in West Covina.
