Grindelwald’s overall plan has been laid out for all to see by J.K. Rowling in a new clip of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
AT&T has released a brand new clip of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, giving us a peek inside the mind of Grindelwald himself. J.K. Rowling appears in the footage as well, detailing the overall plan that Grindelwald has.
I should point out that at this point that this post will contain some very mild spoilers for the upcoming movie. For those of you who wish to avoid spoilers, you should consider leaving the post now.

It’s pretty clear what Grindelwald’s intentions are here. He no longers wants the Wizarding World to remain secret and by the sounds of things, many share his opinion as well. We can certainly see several of his followers throughout the entire clip in various scenes.

J.K. Rowling gives us a fantastic insight into the character as well. Confirming that Grindelwald’s real threat to the world is not his power, although he is a powerful wizard, but his ability at being able to manipulate and convince others around to his way of thinking.
