Cardi B gets super candid about ‘breaking’ her you-know-what during childbirth

Cardi B had some honest, frank thoughts about childbirth and motherhood when she appeared on Jimmy Kimmel this week.

When it comes to motherhood and celebrities, there is often a need to censor or hold back on some of the less pretty parts of being a mom. Often celeb moms make it seem like everything is simple, and they have it all together. But, when it comes to Cardi B, she isn’t a person who is known for being shy.

During her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday, Cardi B opened up about becoming a mom and how motherhood, and giving birth, impacted her body. The interview was part of Jimmy Kimmel’s programming in Brooklyn.

During the interview, Kimmel asked her, “Was childbirth easier or harder than you imagined it would be?”

Her response was pretty real and authentic, and she didn’t mince words about how childbirth messed up her body saying, “It was totally harder. She broke my vagina.”

This is something that many moms everywhere can probably relate to. Giving birth is no easy task, and it can be rough on a person’s body.

She also explained that she wished she had known more about what to expect and what could happen during childbirth before it happened, adding, “Nobody told me they were gonna stitch my vagina.” Ouch, yeah, that doesn’t sound pleasant, but it is something that sometimes has to happen after childbirth.

Cardi B also said that motherhood is not always a walk in the park either. Talking to Kimmel, she joked about how her three-month-old baby can be “demanding” and “fiesty” at times.

Her daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, will not likely be shown off to the world often, either. Cardi talked about how it is difficult to have a child when you’re a celebrity, and she added that she’s “not mentally ready” to show her baby to everyone. She wants to be able to spend time with her daughter and do simple things like go to the beach and walk down the street, but these small things can be hard because she has to be on her guard when in public.

Despite the difficulties, it sounds like Cardi B isn’t ruling out having more kids. “I do feel like I need to rest, but, oh my god, the happiness that my baby brought me is like, I could do this over and over again.”
