Crazy Ex-Girlfriend preview: What are we going to do about Rebecca?

Rebecca had quite the end to a season last year, so what does season 4 hold for Rebecca Bunch on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend? Well, we’ll find out this week!

The last we saw of Rebecca, Trent had fallen from the roof of a building and Rebecca was arrested for it. So, in the final season of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, what can we expect? What we do know is that Greg Serrano is returning to West Covina and he’s got a bit of a facelift.

Santino Fontana wasn’t going to return to the musical show, and so the forces behind Crazy Ex-Girlfriend simply recast Greg. It helps that they got another Broadway alum to take over the role and Skylar Astin is going be singing at Rebecca about how their love is a “s–t show”.

Every season is filled with twists and turns for Rebecca that we never see coming. Whether it is breaking into her own apartment and making it look like an accident to try and get Josh to come and care for her or realizing too late that she does really love Greg over Josh Chan, Rebecca is one of those characters who always keep us on our toes.

The first season, Rebecca packed up and moved to West Covina all in the hopes of breaking up Josh and Vanessa. After falling in love with Greg instead, Rebecca learned the hard way that her actions have consequences. From there, she had to learn to fix herself and, in doing so, got engaged to Josh and he left her at the altar.

Season 3 left Rebecca out for revenge and then trying to cope with what happened with Josh Chan. But with her actions having affected Trent in such a negative way, Rebecca ended up on a roof and Trent falling to his “death” even though he just broke all his bones. So what will season 4 lead to?

Now, with her in jail and having to turn to Nathaniel for advice, it is going to take a lot to get Rebecca Bunch out of all the things she’s done in her life. There’s a lot to atone on her end and even if she was framed by Trent, she still broke the law quite a lot to try and win over Josh Chan.
