If you ever wanted to attend the Yule Ball from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, you’re in luck. All muggles are invited to the upcoming Yule Ball, but you’ll need to head to Toronto for it.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire had one of the most majestic and beautiful moments in the whole movie series, the Yule Ball. We all wanted to attend it and we were certainly disappointed not to get our letter to Hogwarts to get to attend. Well, now all muggles are invited, but you’ll need to head to Toronto.

Inspired by the ball in the fourth movie, all Potterheads are invited to Toronto’s first Yule Ball. There’s the Yule TIme Wizard market, a wand class to take, a delicious magical feast, and even a costume contest. Oh, and there will be a DJ, so you can dance away just like the students did.

Everyone is encouraged to dress up in costume, but you can also opt for formal/muggle-wear if you’d like. There’s a $200 CAD prize for the best costume, so think about it.

Taking place on Dec. 8, there are two events in Toronto for Harry Potter fans. If you can’t do the 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. local time ball, then how about the Yule Time Market? This is a separately ticketed event (Yule Ball tickets include access to this) that runs from 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and is definitely perfect for the younger fans. Plus, the market costs just $10 per person to get into.

If you want to head off to the Yule Ball, you’ll need to pay $70 per ticket. Prices may go up. The ticket to the ball includes the market, so you don’t need to pay the extra.

Toronto is playing with us on the whole event, though. While we know there will be 40 vendors, the location isn’t going to be revealed until November! There will be an invite in the mail, which is your ticket.
